Request Deletion of Your Data

At TheFans.io, we value your privacy and provide a straightforward process for deleting your account and personal data. If you're using our app and wish to delete your account, you have two options:

Option 1: Within TheFans App

If you do really want to end it and say goodbye to your TheFans account directly within the app, please follow these steps:

1. Open the TheFans App:
   • Launch the TheFans app on your iOS/Android device.
2. Access Your Profile:
   • Tap on "More" (three dots) from the profile menu.
3. Select "Other":
   • Scroll down and tap on "Other."
4. Delete Account:
   • Tap on "Delete Account."
5. Follow the Steps:
   • Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the account deletion process.

Option 2: Via Email

To delete your account and personal data from TheFans via email, please follow these steps:

1. Send Us a Deletion Request Email:
   • Open your preferred email client on your device.
2. Compose a New Email:
   • Create a new email addressed to contact@thefans.io.
3. Subject Line:
   • In the subject line, write "Account Deletion Request."
4. Draft Your Message:
   • In the body of the email, include the following information:
     • Your full name.
     • The email address associated with your TheFans account.
     • A brief reason for your account deletion (optional).
     • Any additional information that might help us verify your identity.
5. Send Your Request:
   • Once you've composed the email with the necessary information, send it to contact@thefans.io.
6. Confirmation Email:
   • After we receive your request, you will receive a confirmation email from us acknowledging your request for account deletion.
7. Verification (if necessary):
   • In some cases, we may need to verify your identity to ensure the security of your account. We will provide instructions on any additional steps required for verification in our confirmation email.
8. Account Deletion:
   • Once your identity is verified (if necessary), we will proceed with the deletion of your account and personal data. Please note that this process may take a few business days to complete.
